The BBC has updated its BBC Sport application so that it supports tablet devices over 7-inches.
Initially, the Beeb had concentrated on developing an experience best suited to iPhone and Android smartphones. It could also be used on smaller tablet devices, such as the Nexus 7 and original Kindle Fire, but it was decided that the BBC Sport website would look best on larger screens.
However, with the rapid rise of the tablet in the UK, the corporation has decided to cater for larger tablets with the app too, offering a more native experience than is possible with the internet site.
The new version is optimised and scaled up for tablets including iPad, iPad Air, Android tablets over 7-inches and Kindle Fire 8.9-inch devices.
It offers the ability to add favourite football teams and sports to curate content just for you, has playback of BBC Radio 5 live and 5 live sports extra from within the app itself, and directly supports iOS 7 and Android KitKat.
You can download the new free BBC Sport app from the relevant app stores now.
