‘As Always, Julia’ is $ 1.99 for Kindle
In honor of Julia Child’s 101st birthday, Kindle is offering this book of letters at a bargain price for one day.

The book contains the personal letters that were exchanged between Julia Child and her friend, Avis DeVoto, and chronicles the frustrations Julia had while writing “Mastering the Art of French Cooking.” It also has details of the personal, public and political lives of both women and their husbands.
I think $ 1.99 for this book is a bargain, and if you enjoy reading memoirs and autobiographies centered around the world of food, this is book is a must-read. You don’t need to have a Kindle to purchase the book. You can use the Kindle app for other tablets or even download it to your computer.
