Amazon has reduced its Kindle Fire hardware by £ 25 for a limited time, to celebrate topping a customer satisfaction study over the Christmas period.
The price reduction is subtracted at the checkout when users enter the code ‘MAYDAY25′, but does not apply to the already-discounted Kindle Fire HD 8.9-inch tablet.

The online retailer topped the ForeSee Experience Index: UK Retail Edition survey for the seventh year running, and will offer the discounts until Monday (January 20).

Under the temporary pricing structure, an 8GB Kindle Fire HD can be purchased for £ 94, the Kindle Fire HDX 7-inch starts at £ 174, and a Kindle Fire HDX 8.9-inch tablet is available from £ 304.
Analytics firm ForeSee compiled the results of its customer satisfaction research by monitoring 10,000 consumer responses online, left between November and December last year.
Amazon topped the list with a score of 84.
