Amazon has been voted the number one retailer in the UK for customer satisfaction over Christmas for the seventh year running. And to celebrate it has knocked £ 25 off prices of Kindle Fire tablets, including the Kindle Fire HD, Kindle Fire HDX 7 and Kindle Fire HDX 8.9.
The discount is applicable until Monday, 20 January and is subtracted at checkout when you enter the code MAYDAY25. A Kindle Fire HD can therefore be bought for £ 94 for the 8GB with special offers version. The Kindle Fire HDX 7-inch starts at £ 174 with the offer. And a Kindle Fire HDX 8.9-inch tablet can be bought from £ 304.
Amazon hasn’t applied the offer to its already heavily discounted Kindle Fire HD 8.9-inch tablet. That currently costs £ 179 – £ 50 off its original price.
The retailer’s number one position relates to a study published by analytics firm ForeSee. The ForeSee Experience Index: UK Retail Edition assesses more than 10,000 responses by customers, taken over November and December 2013, and scores them to see which offers the most customer satisfaction.
