iPhone, Kindle Snatcher Caught On Video At UM Metrorail Station - CBS Local

CORAL GABLES (CBSMiami) – Coral Gables police have released a surveillance picture of a man involved in the robbery of another man at a Metrorail Station.

According to police, 39-year-old Humberto Lopez was standing in front of the University of Miami Metrorail Station at around 9:30 pm on January 14th. Suddenly, a man wearing black skully, white shirt and black pants rushed Lopez.

The suspect was holding two rocks in his hands as he came at Lopez and snatched his Kindle and iPhone right from his hand.

The two men struggled but Lopez, who feared for his life, let his property go.

The bad guy ran up the stairs to the Metrorail and then back down before running southbound towards the 5600 block of Orduna Drive.
