Amazon Kindle Paperwhite 2, 300ppi screen with the next generation and lighter - Techblog (Blog)

Reportedly, the famous Amazon Kindle Paperwhite E-reader is expected to have lighter construction and screen ratio of pixels per inch that will touch 300ppi (pixels per inch). To make a comparison, the current Kindle Paperwhite has a display with 212ppi, so upgrading the screen will undoubtedly greatly improve imaging quality and will make a difference.

The Amazon also new version will use glass instead of plastic on the screen surface and changes will be made and keyboards, to offer better feel to the touch and better tactile feedback.
