The line of Kindle e-books and tablets have become something of a staple under the Christmas tree in recent years and this year will be no exception. The Kindle Fire HD, rolled out by Amazon last year, is a nice upgrade (and the price is right too) for tablet users and those who like to watch videos on-the-go.

As part of Best Buy’s Black Friday 2013 deals, the electronics retailer will slash the price of a 16GB Black Kindle Fire HD from $ 199 to just $ 99 from November 28 through November 30, 2013.

Some of the Kindle Fire HD features include:

• Dual stereo speakers with Dolby Digital Plus audio
• 16 GB of local storage, enough to accommodate the larger file sizes of HD content.
• Exceptional battery life-7 “Kindle Fire HD gets 11 hours of battery life.
• 1.2GHz Processor
• Built-in Wi-Fi (internet connection required for Wi-Fi access).

Best Buy Black Friday 2013 Store Hours:

More than 1,000 Best Buy stores in 47 states will open at 6 pm local time on Thanksgiving evening and will remain open until 10 pm local time on Friday, Nov. 29.
