Iowa Drivers License Test Available on Kindle - KCRG

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa – If you own a Kindle tablet computer, you can take the practice Iowa drivers license test.

The Iowa Department of Transportation on Wednesday said its “IA Driver Test” app will generate 25 questions, randomly chosen from among 69 included in the real knowledge test given at any Iowa driver’s license station.

Users can repeat the test as often as they like. Each new test generates a different set of 25 questions.

The app also tracks a user’s high scores and includes a pass / fail indicator.

The free app, developed in partnership with Iowa Interactive, is available for download through Amazon as “IA Driver Test.” The app also is available for iPad and Android devices.

While there are imitation apps available that often charge a fee, the official Iowa DOT app is free and will appear with the words “Iowa DOT” on the icon.
