Kindle Worlds allows fan-fiction writers to work on licensed properties published through the platform, with royalties going to both the creators and the IP holders.

The newly relaunched publisher was announced among the second wave of licensors joining the scheme, which also included authors Neal Stephenson, Hugh Howey, Barry Eisler and Blake Crouch.

Fans will initially be able to create Bloodshot , XO Manowar , Archer & Armstrong , Harbinger and Shadowman stories, with more properties expected to be added at a later date.

Kindle Worlds Store will also launch later this month with over 50 works including Valiant-branded short stories by Jason Starr, Robert Rodi, Stuart Moore and more. The self-service submission platform will arrive at the same time.
