Amazon Kindle Fire one-day sale - The Full Signal

Amazon’s next-gen Kindle Fire HD tablets could be coming very soon, as the online retailer just slashed the prices of its current Kindle Fire line. On the plus side, you’ll be able to score one of the tablets dirt cheap (Kindle accessories are up for grabs too); on the downside, the deals are for one day only (and only while supplies last).

  • Amazon Kindle Fire HD to include Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 CPU

Amazon has made no mention of whether the price cut is to make room for its newest tablets, but if recent rumors of the upcoming Kindle Fire HD slates are any indication, it’s likely that we could see it happen soon .

The next-gen Kindle Fire HD tablets are rumored to feature the super speedy Snapdragon 800 processor, clocked at 2.15GHz. The larger version is believed to boast an improved screen at 2560 x 1600, 2GB of RAM and the choice of 16GB, 32GB or 64GB of storage. The next 7-inch Kindle Fire HD will likely also offer a slicker display, 2GB of RAM and the same storage options.

But enough speculating – let’s get down to the crazy affordable (and temporary) Kindle Fire prices. The Kindle Fire 8.9-inch gets a nice 25 percent discount, and several accessories are priced to move quickly, too.
